Hi Folks

I'm looking to buy shutter release for my canon 50d, when I look on websites some that are equivalant rs80n3. now these vary from £4 upwards to about £25. the canon one is around £40. would there be a big difference in them, would I be better going for the canon make.

Donna..

Donna, the canon one is just more expensive it has a couple of extra function buttons but to be honest a cheapie will do just the same job! save you money for something else :-)

I'm pretty sure Wayne's radio photix one was cheaper than that off eBay, and you'll get a wireless trigger instead of a cable to worry about tripping over (or would it just be me who'd end up falling over one if I bought one lol)?

As long as whatever you buy lets you press the button once to open the shutter on bulb then another press to close the shutter on bulb, that's the main thing...
