Hi everyone,
we have very kindly been invited back for the club BBQ at David's house :-) (thanks David)

Its on Saturday 1st August, late afternoon/early evening, as usual there will be a food list of what to bring with you and your own drinks of course!

The marquee will be up so even if it rains we'll still have a great time :)

Please put this date in your diary, its not an event to miss, many thanks to David and Rosemary for their hospitality once again :-)

Can I request that we don't put the address in this public forum?

Members who don't know where to go can email or pm somebody to find out , or I am sure Dawn would send a group email nearer the time. Too many gatecrashers and there will not be enough room in the garden! :wink:

Many thanks to Rosemary and David, we had a great time last year. Is Caroline entertaining us again? Or anybody?

Yeah!
I missed far too many outings last year, certainly dont want to miss out this year! If Dawn (or whom ever) can let us know the directions that would be good.
PS put me down for salad - I really can't cook!!!! Or even better - put me down for burgers / sausages etc - then NO prep work required at all!!!!!!!!!! Only joking I will await the food list and when all the easy stuff has already gone will astonish you all with my Michelin star banquet!!!! ummmm - NOT! :lol:

Ok folks not long till this event :-) However it doesn't happen on its own.
We need at least 3 strong ish people to put up the marquee on the Saturday morning... I'm happy to help.. Nick said he should be there and Rick and poss Ian.. but we need 3 helpers that can commit to this please.... David is kind enough to host this event, the leats we can do is do this for him :-)

Please could you also confirm that your coming and how many of you, there will be a list to sign up for foods to bring along with you at the club next week or if you have something you want to bring please let me know and I'll add it to the list, David is doing both the meat and the rolls :-) .. partners and kids are welcome as long as you are responsible for them near the lake, BBQ etc.
We need def numbers as soon as possible please :-)

Please bring folding chairs or rugs to sit on and your own drinks :-)

Shame I'm not able to make it, Saturday is always awkward for me! However if I were you would have got a Greek salad! haha sorry guys :p - have a wonderful time though, hope the weather is good!
