If that's the case.....then I'll give them a call and see how long they'll need. Then I can bring the whole batch and we can perforate after the tutorial or whatnot haha. I have two metal rulers and two Perforators handy, so we can have a small couple having "fun"

Gwynith,

I'll get some envelopes by Thursday - I do wonder whether we'll need 260 as well though!

The only thing left (I think) is some black cloth. Will leave this til Dawn gets back incase she's got a very specific thing in mind...

Don't worry Nick, thanks for the offer. If we do the photocopy way it means a LOT of manual work as well as editing/ distorting the design so not only would we have to cut them all out, we would need to sit there and perforate them after! I don't mind sitting here the afternoon perforating but cutting is another thing! Oh and they're double sided :( photocopying ruins alignment sadly

now im confused?? why would it mean a lot of work its an a5 design which i can get two printed out on one a4, the photocopier here is connected directly to the computer so i wouldn't have to leave my desk all it would mean is cutting them on the guilliotene.
i was just trying to save some money, dont say i didnt offer lol

Lol whoops, I confused you Nick with my Design perfection talk! Basically the problem with photocopying is that it's going to mean that there will be misalignments when they're copied back to back, so once cut out they will not meet the place they're supposed to. I'll go get them printed as soon as I can and bring them in to show, if you're worried about saving money then that's fine I'll pay, just need to keep a good reputation going with the designs or people might think I can be sloppy, last thing a designer needs :(

So if I go get these printed this afternoon will anyone have any objections or does there need to be any final edits? I feel a little wary though since Dawn has yet to see lol :P

I took them in yesterday evening and went to collect them today, all to find Staples had actually faulted my design completely. Not only that but it was a poor job, so I complained and they're redoing the entire batch!

Regardless, I'm going to get these picked up this evening before the club on the way and bring them in with me. I have a spare ruler + perforator if anyone would like to be my perforating buddy? LOL

I have picked up 50 envelopes, the size you fold A4 into 3 (sorry size gone out of my head). Just ones from Tescos, Gwynith if you bring your labels in I'll source some more before we get to the set up next week. I'll probably get another 100 more, that should be enough for now!

...if I ever see that perforator again, I'll have to use it on someone, forget the paper!!

....MOVING on slightly from my wicked plan to kill using a rotary perforator, leaflets are all ready and will bring them to the gallery on wednesday!
