Another from my trip to Lydiard Park in Swindon, but with 2x ND grads this time. Trying to capture the direct sunlight passing through fine broken layer of clouds and maintain the foreground light and colour in the sky.

Thoughts?

not 100% sure about this one. Think it feels a bit too dark and the colours a bit artificial. obviously a really difficult shot to take with balancing the lighting. anyone else any thoughts?

Missed this one yesterday..!

That sky diagonal to me looks like it should be lending itself to a landscaped shot, plus I think you've got too much grass in the forground without it adding to the pic too much (no "interest")..?

Work monitor is showing purple for the sky, now it's not calibrated, but it's not usually far off..?

not sure either wayne, one thing to watch with ND filters id you get a purple colour on the image which i think is what caused the sky colouring and also as its been said theres not anything of intrest to drew your eye to

Thanks for the feedback folk. They purple in the sky is as was, hence the reason for taking as thought it striking how the sun was causing this strange light.

Sonya, agree with the grass its what was bugging me about the shot but couldnt put my finger on it. Diane, you also got good point about the tree line, seems a little dark.

All good feedback and will be aken on board for next time. :)
