I'm just getting quotes in for the posters for the exhibition... here is the first quote

the 4 a1's will be £40 + vat
12 a4 £4.80 + vat
black and white
the 4 a1's will be £4.90 + vat
12 a4 92p + vat

The colour copies are quiet pricey.... I'm waiting ofr more quotes but just wondered what you guys thought re having BW versions?

It's a shame I can't access my university print service....It's only £5 for A1 prints in full colour :(. But regardless, where have you found 4 A1 colour for £40 + Vat? That's really not that bad......

That being said, I don't think B&W is really all that bad unless everyone wanted spiffy pretty colour pictures!

A1's we are going to need for the A boards.. question is do we actually need A4 posters? they were for people to put up at work and stuff..... or could have those BW instead to keep the cost down?

if we have the Colour A1 posters it will add £1.75 to everyones bill.... how does everyone feel about that? I don't want to just spend your money LOL

No one said exhibiting was cheap!!! Do we have a near-final tally of the costs yet then?

Yep, just sent everyone an e-mail :-)

£120 gallery (divided by 27 = £4.45)

£91.09 prints (depends on how many prints you are exhibiting £1.08 each

£130 for the mounts £1.30 each again depends on how many prints your exhibiting

Then all that is left is posters and A boards (which Ian is making)

So if we have 3 pictures, we multiply the "dependable" bits by 3?

Yes Alex, so for you, £4.45 , £3.24 prints, £3.90 mounts £11.59
then there are the posters and A boards.. posters £1.75 if everyone wnats to go down that route ??

Think we should add free admission to the posters ???? don't want to put anyone off going in to view ;-) ??

Oh does this mean I need to get out my Photoshop and edit the file to say free entry now?

Apart from that, I can't see any problem with the costs if we have colour too, it's not even £15

Think I can probably manage that one Alex LOL..

Ok, we'll go for 4 A1 colour posters...

May be folks can just print off their own "works " poster if I send the A4 files round? or bring it on a memory stick tomorrow?????

Don't worry Dawn, I'm happy to edit it if you want, that way it might be able to keep the style of design too! Unless your comfortable with doing so, not like I'm doign anything else right now anyway :).

As for the posters for work, if it saves the problem with handing about a USB stick, I could upload an A4 file of it and you could email the group the link with it if you want!

This is the quote from Kall Kwick

A1 colour posters would be £80 for 4.
12 A4 prints would be £6. A5's are around half the price of A4's.

That's double the price :-(
