Here is the text of Dawn's emails of today. Just in case you haven't read them yet, please note that it has been changed from 4th July, as in the first email...

Just to let you know that we have now provisionally booked for one motorhome and one tent which sleeps 2 people for the 4th July, we can arrive early and leave late on Sunday so would have plenty of time to take photos and relax!

Extra tents wouldn't cost very much more and can be sorted out if you let us know that you need to bring one. The cost for the whole thing wouldn't be very much at all, approx £10 or less plus food, drink and of course the cost of getting there.

Those of you that don't want to camp would be very welcome to come for the whole day and stay for the food etc.. so if you would like to be part of this I need to know ! So that we can make a firm booking...so please let me know, I an will be there on Thursday to fill in any info that you might need.

See you all on Sunday at Everdon wood, again if you're coming could you please let me know so that we don't wait around for people .

followed by...

The club social/photography over night trip has had to have a date change...it clashes with one of the big airshows..sorry. The new suggested date is 27th June ...Ian has all the info for you on Thursday.. please let me know if you're interested in coming.

This also means that the proposed trip to Kenilworth will need to be rearranged.

Hi,
I am definately up for it! Ian said I probably wont need a tent as there should be enough room? I dont think I can make it to the club tonight and I think you were going to discuss it. Just to let you know I would like to come along please just let me know whats decided etc.
Thanks
Saz

Pesky husband looks like he might be organising a rugby tournament that weekend now as well (you can tell he's in my bad books!), so I'm looking unlikely for this as well...

I'm already away that weekend at a charity fundraising event, so won't be going camping.

It takes between 45-60 mins to get there from Northampton

I've decided this would be the better site after all due to the pitches that would be available & not having to worry about making to much noise.
It is a great place & so close to so many different attractions & good camera shots.
It would be great to get a idea this Thursday on numbers & who's coming, it is open to all the club & partners...
If the numbers are low, we might have to postpone to a future date though....

What's the latest - do we have semi-definite numbers?

Would be great to start organising, food (yes I know that's all I think about), whatever - I'm staying for a BBQ even if I can't stay overnight :D

I'm guessing then from the lack of interest this week, we are cancelling this?

I have a haircut to either go to or cancel that Saturday morning :?

Diane I think it was left that those that had expressed an interest were still going, I'll PM Ian and see what he thinks.

Hi folks, this event has sadly been postponed, not quiet enough people to make it worth while, so if you'd still like to do this event, go some where where there are wildlife and landscape opportunites and then have a BBQ in the evening, camp over and have a bit of a social event then PLEASE could YOU suggest a date and we can work towards that .

IN the mean time, those of us that were going to go are going to Kenilworth Castle instead :-) so if you'd like to ocme please let me know!

Thats a shame I was looking forward to it. What sort of time are you planning kenilworth? Now were not camping I shall be going to a friends engagement party on the saturday night but wondered if I'd get chance to squeeze in the castle too?

Probably going to meet late morning I would think... so should think you'd have plenty of time to go to the party too :-)

Thinking about future events, how many is 'quite enough' for an outing or weekend. I thought there were quite a lot of us coming for the one day, at least, and was looking fwd to a raucous barbecue tonight. Was it cos we couldn't camp?
