Who's coming to Towcester? and some images

Here are a few from Towcester last night, just to encourage you to come on the 29th! You can get really close to the action... only hting is NO FLASH!
So guys, its the last meeting of the season, you won't get another chance till next year! all taken with a 70-200mm

, although I shouldn't complain I shall be in the Italian Lakes and French Alpes / Provence for a couple of weeks so am desperately hoping I have some stunning landscapes to post when I get back?!?

you can really see the white of the horses eye in no. 2 , was it eye to eye contact?. I can`t come either

Hi Nick, yes Towcester is on on Tuesday night..I'm working at the University Tues/Wednesday but if you decide to go let me know and I might persuade myself to come too LOL...

They can't be at Towcester - the sun's out!! Must be somewhere else..

I can't make the 29th, probably can't make Tues as it's his nibs' quiz night, I'll see/work on him tomorrow lol ...

Weather at the moment looking slightly iffy - showers - which means sideways rain knowing that place...

Ok guys the racing starts at 6pm (first race) last race 8.30 but will probably be a bumper (ie no jumping) so not of much interest.

The weather forecast is rubbish as usual :-(

if your going let me know, I'll try and make it but not sure what time I'm going to get finished up at the uni... otherwise anyone who isnt going tomorrow can go on the 29th that is the LAST meetin g of the season, restarts again in October :-)

but they will be afternoon meetings, evening meets don't start again until next May! So its your last chance this year !!!!

I am going on the 29th. It is now 7.30pm Tues 19th I did not notice people going today. looking out window, nice evening. Hope it's a good session.

Hi Everyone,
The first race is 6.30pm last race 9pm!

If you go the back way to the races, through Stoke bruerne you won't get held up in the traffic :-)

Remember NO FLASH !!!!!!!!!! It spooks the horses and will make you very unpopular and its dangerous ! Its free to get in and free to park! The are bars and food available :-)

You can take in picnics if you want to.

I'm now working in Watford late afternoon, so not exactly sure what time I'll get there :-(

just depends on M25 :-(

I will be there just before the first first race, last time we met up a couple of fences down from the finish line, so when you get in go towards the front of the stand past the food trucks and head to the right and walk down the side of the track away from the finish line and you will see us
