No, not for me

Someone at work is asking whether anyone has bought one. I couldn't remember anyone mentioning it - if anyone has, what do they think..?

Had me worried there :)

Answer to the question, get the D60 in comparison - not me saying this but the reviews which compare D60 Vs 1000d.

He's got a lot of 35mm Canon lenses so it's either a 450d or 1000d... :D

450d anytime
the 1000d is more of a beginners camera but has some of the nice features stripped off.
and if he already has lenses sounds like he knows a bit about photography
so i would go for the 450 anyday
