Fixation - Lens Rental

Looking to rent the Sigma 120-300mm for a day @ £25 or weekend and came across this company. Not bad rates for day rentals, so has anyone used?

I used this company to repair my 1dn mk11 (program fault), very good service, good coms & a quick turn around.......
I didn't know they do rentals..... worth considering when a special event arrises.

Well good I thought until I just got a quote for the Sigma 120-300mm for a weekend (apparent special rate).

Weekend with UPS delivery on Friday PM and pickup Monday AM total £150.

The a deposit as first time of the cost of the equipment £1587.

So in short I could buy the lense myself. Not to impressed

We will give in one hand, but take in the other, nothing nowadays is what it seems..... the small print comes to mind....... But I see the reason why with all this fraud going on nowadays......

ah thats buggered it i was about to say £35 for a days hire on a 300mm 2.8 is cool, but no way have i got enough for the deposit unless i rob a bank er i mean win the lottery lol.

I will save up for one instead

Worst of all I can rent the same lense in the US for $90 for the WEEK!!

Damn the UK rip off Britain, blah blah argh!
