Just thought I'd post a written thread here (and because the forum has suddenly turned into a barron wasteland).
Last night at the club Dawn mentioned things for the Exhibition next month.

This included, setup time and location, what may be needed, and advertising materials/ pricing!

Dawn please add to this (Edit this post too if you're a moderator).

SETUP 12:30 pm At the Fishmarket Gallery - September 2nd Wednesday.
A ladder may be needed for put things up including the banners (Or we can stand on Ian or/ and Nicks shoulders! Yay for healty & safety!)

Basically, let's get last nights information down as a written source!

Just to confirm.. the gallery will not be moved on the cost of staying open for 2 hours on the Thursday evening so Saturday afternoon it will have to be I'm thinking 4pm??? how does that sound to everyone?

If it sounds good could someone organise an electronic invitation template or something similar if you know what I mean and think about who else ought to be invited
I should (hopefully still have access to emails... just in case

I have also spoken to the gallery about selling the prints, we are free to do so and they do not take any commission!! BUT they don't offer any help either... so we would need to provide order forms and hope people pick them up and use them!
SO I have seNt Alex a draft which he is going to turn in to a super dooper leaflet/order form... so if he needs some feed back please help him out!

That's quite a surprise that they don't want to be involved in the selling of any art..

Unless anyone disagrees 4pm it is for the opening - who is going to do the electronic invitation - is that a fancy phrase for email

I'm off to Costco this afternoon, I'll scout out wine prices & possibly some nibbles - they are good for that sort of thing..

Things to bring for setup:

- two step ladders - there will be enough of is to hold onto them, I'm sure..
- spirit levels
- pencils
- sticky backed plastic (OK not this, but it feels all very blue peter)
- hot water for a cup of tea - Nick your flask springs to mind & some biccies (easy one for me to sort lol)

Dawn will be bringing the velcro, so who is bringing the above? And what have I forgotten since Thursday evening lol..

Do we have any small flyers? Just wondering about being outside handing them out whilst we're there..? I might print some off - my emergency standby if Matthew gets too bored...!

As Dawn said I will be creating some flyers for hand out. My Aim will be create something Black and White based this time however to keep the costs very low!! Photocopies will only be probably 3-5 each, and if I do them at A5 then you will be able to get 2 out of an A4 sheet.
And yes, feedback will be great, I'm going to be working on these when I can!

Ok I haven't quiet gone yet LOL.. we will need a small table with a nice black cloth to put the flyers/order forms on and the comment book which we also need LOL..ok that's it suitcase is calling see you soon x

ok i have a laser level that will produce a line round the walls to make sure there straight, also i have a ladder as well
