Someone at work has £50 to spend on one as a Christmas present.

Anyone bought one, what did you get and would you recommend it?

I was looking at these at Tescos on Tuesday....... they start of as cheap £25.00 for a 5'' but look at the screen res as the cheap ones have a low res compared to ones with either double/treble the amount, obviously you are going to pay more.
I know Nick has one.... he might be able to give you more advise.
There was a mag I read not so long ago with a test of some on the market...i will try & search out for you..

Thanks Ian, my general advice to her was about the resolution and to ignore the bells and whistles. As long as it takes a memory card, that's the only important feature I would have thought (buying a memory card just to sit in the photo frame will cost pennies)..
