you may want to check out this free software...I use it and it's pretty amazing. It works on Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari and is great for viewing images from web sites...particularly for flickr

Been using it a while - its pretty cool to review picks easily form say Flickr.com etc via your browser, auto adds nice icon by images to pop them up in own window over browser window too
