When learning about composition, one of the sites I really liked was Caroline Mockett. This was becuase the way she explained and demonstrated the rules/guidelines was in quick and simple way to understand.

The book I was talking about is The photographers Eye
by Michael Freeman.

I haven't go to the end but it's a book to get you thinking with lots of photos to illustrate the ideas. Rule of thirds hasn't been mentioned yet!

Again, I can bring it along one week if anyone is interested.

Yes pleaqse as happen to one I have book marked on Amazon for purchase later.

I will bring my 3 books on Thurs also for anyone to have a look.
